Civic leadership is core to Linda’s professional and personal life. Linda has been a mentor and sponsor for young professionals in the marketing and communications sector in Charlotte and nationally. A longtime member of the Charlotte Regional Business Alliance, and she also served on the Executive Committee.
A sustaining member of the Junior League of Charlotte and a member of Charlotte Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, she was the first woman and first African American to serve as chair of the board of trustees for Central Piedmont Community College, an institution that educates over 40,000 students annually. In 2024, Central Piedmont dedicated a classroom in Linda’s name. She has also served as chair of the board of directors for the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Library Foundation, chair of the board of the Children’s Theatre of Charlotte, chair of the board for the Arts and Science Council and chair of the board of the YWCA of the Central Carolinas.
Linda is a Senior Fellow of the Charlotte Chapter of the American Leadership Forum and was the Executive in Residence for the Wake Forest University MBA Program in Charlotte in 2020. She currently serves on the board of the Lynwood Foundation and the Goodwill of the Southern Piedmont Foundation and is a Senior Advisor to the African American Leadership Academy in Charlotte.








Linda and the firm have been recognized by the Charlotte Business Journal, LaNoticia – the Spanish Language newspaper and the Mecklenburg Times. In 2021, Linda was named Charlotte Woman of the Year. In 2024, Linda received The Luminary Award from the Charlotte Post Newspaper Foundation. In 2025 she received the Whitney M. Young Jr. Award from the Urban League of the Central Carolinas, and she was honored as a “Living Legend” by Who’s Who in Black Charlotte.
